Gunnar Haslam is the latest name to bat up an LP of experimental beats-offs and club trax for Ron Morelli's fine L.I.E.S. label. Their use really depends on you, but craftier DJs could no doubt put the rolling polyrhythms of 'Just For Me' to good use, as with the exotic swing and shuffle of 'Mark And Don' or the ace, low-slung acid squeeze of 'Cat Superhighway (version)', whilst equally the home-listening crew can immerse in the whole album's psychedelic modulations between the raw, grubbing house of 'B61', the loping Muslimgauze groove of 'Scheherezade' and the booming 808 swagger of 'Anatolia'.
